Got it, thank you! Looks like I may miss out this year, but I'm sure there's plenty other events to look into and just exploring and collecting stuff will be plenty entertaining for a while.

You can still jump into the TdZ events of you've missed a few.

My fav thing to do is look into the Events and find a scheduled group workout/race/ride to do. Being in a group is FAR better than just tooling around alone.

Sometimes we'll have team rides, so yes. Other times just other avatars and i'll often jump in a group ride to get my leg speed going, there's hundreds every day on the calendar.

The group rides/races/events are the strengths of zwift. Either you embrace the social aspect of zwift or you don’t. If you don’t you are way over paying for trainer software.

This Tour is coming to an end. How's everyone doing so far?

I missed stage 5 but have done multiple routes of each of the others. Seems like the routes are shorter this year.

I have stage 6 tomorrow and 7 sometime over the weekend. It's been like having about 2 really hard interval sessions a week lol. I'm racing B and it's been tough going for the 57 year old, but overall pretty satisfying.

I missed 5 & 6 due to work-work and being out of town until last night. Planning to catch up on those if they do any make-up days.

There will be make-up days mid month, I believe.

Used to enjoy these big zwift group rides.

But with each firmware update, my 10yo notebook is struggling more and more. eg
- riderless bikes, i.e. in a peloton, I'm surrounded by bikes with no riders on them
- my stats get updated with a horrible lag making it very difficult to stay in a group, i drop 50-100 places in a matter of seconds if i try to match the pace of the peloton. It's almost easier just being a "flyer".

These issues only occur on a big group ride. Zwift is flawless in a small group event/race/rides.

Get an apple TV, works great.

I cant remember where it was, but someone here recommended a wahoo mount, so I picked one of those up and an extra phone case.

Frame bag has been useful for snacks, Apple TV remote
