My 1976 Raleigh Super Course, built for this year’s L’Eroica. First ride on gravel today.

Love, love, love that orange Raleigh. Might have to put a bike like that together some day. Let us know how it rides!

Scioto Trail State Park just outside of Chillicothe Ohio. Gravel Paradise. Forest and B-ROADS all completely deserted.

Not a true gravel bike if you know what I mean...when I ordered this custom built road bike almost 10 years ago, I specifically requested for a minimum 35 mm tires to fit in there.

Here in this picture, it has Challenge gravel grinder 700x38 mounted on. Barely fit. It's usually not my first choice bike when it comes to gravel riding but it had gone to D2R2 twice because of its ritchey breakaway for easy travel.

Is that your Taylor repainted or an entirely separate but similar bike?

sandy pal, you are too gracious. Actually, the photo is a bit washed out but if you are able to see it in person, you will find that the paint job is pretty shabby. It was done by a local guy who paints cars and he's not very good at it. In any case, I knew what I was getting into and was fine with it.

You might not be able to buy the bike but you can always buy the bottle.
