That would be a good way to go. It looks like its about 30 miles.

You could stay in Waynesboro for Day 1 and ride the whole skyline dr north to south on Day 2 to Front Royal, or do something like ride to Elkton on Day 1 and through Luray to Front Royal via Fort Valley following the Skymass route.

Just depends on what kind of daily mileage and elevation you want and whether you want to ride the whole road or not.

Old Turnpike is nice. And I was mistakenly thinking of Backbone, not Blue Mountain when I mentioned Reid's.
