Great picture and nice bike too. BTW, what type of rear light are you using and how do you have this attached?

it’s a dinotte quad. it comes with mounts in many sizes. mine’s right on my non-drive seatstay. great light, super visible. it was a great investment

My ride today was easy...I used the Hampsten to get around inside the course in Sacramento while I watched watch the final stage of the Tour of California women's race. I had a nice chat with the Wiggle team and got a few autographs; Kasia's name was added to my Rabo-Liv jersey (it's been signed by most of the team) and a few others signed their pictures in my copy of "The Road Book" by Velofocus.

The men's race rolled out before the women started.

I had talked to these women earlier - the one with her tongue out is Julie Leth and she did that on purpose.

I'm pretty sure that the Astana rider in the center is the eventual stage winner Arlenis Sierra.

The Women's race was great fun to watch, incredible athletes. Have to hand it to this rider who trailed the peloton from about the 2nd lap, probably 45 or so seconds behind. But she finished .....

I believe that's Leah Thorvilson and she did hang in for a long time....but she's listed as DNF in the results.

Two years ago Shara Gillow was involved in a crash on the first lap and fell hard. She was slow to get back up but she rejoined the race and finished 5 minutes behind the winner. I was near the Rabo-Liv car after the race and she was totally spent - I've never seen anyone so wiped out in my life, the other women had to help her with everything. She was awarded the most courageous rider for her effort. A few days later she found out that she had a broken arm.

You can see the crash here at 50 seconds, she's the one on the far right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAY5...ature=youtu.be
