I love Aru. When he's suffering, you know it

He always looks like he is suffering, even when giving an interview.

Cuddles (Cadel Evans) used to be the worst..

Aru wins on his Borat impression.

Fixed, employing the proper term per the new, improved 2018 ultraman6970-ictionary.

Zoncolan is the beast. It gets easier after the tunnels but before the tunnels it is like 15% average, that was my Garmin was saying anyway. Kudos to these riders, this climb and Angrilu are 2 toughest ones on all tours.

As amazing as the guys at the pointy end were and are, I'm just as impressed with the sprinters and rouleurs, drastically out of their element, that manage to haul themselves over this course inside the time cut.

Most of them can actually go faster and climb it much better than you expect. They just go with the gruppetto to save energy for their day jobs.

Fine racing and a fierce climb, but for me, the announcers brought a great deal to the flavor of the race. My feed (thanks OP for that link) would lose audio periodically, and with the banter absent, it was a little harder to get into. But still, the evident crowds, fine camerawork, and the rolling cascade of the white shoes of the peloton, this was a pretty engaging stage.
