My Quest is Over

I bought a Bishop.

I saw it at NAHBS and the greatest woman in the world (my wife) encouraged me to buy it. Not only is it jewelry on wheels, it rides and handles like a dream. As an added bonus, Chris Bishop is one of the nicest guys you will ever deal with.

Do yourself a favor: Contact Chris Bishop and buy one of his bikes. You won't regret it.

I've seen a few around here as he is a Maryland builder (hence the MD flag as the background on the head badge). Damn nice bikes and I keep thinking I should get on the list before it turns into one of those "get your bike in five years" things. Then again I'm also partial to Ti.

Nope. Steel and Stainless steel is where he spends his time, but I agree. The headbadge is great.

Most of his work is old school lugs, but this frame was fillet brazed as part of a two bike project with Ben Falcon (painted for Seven, Chris King, others).

Here are pics of the red version:

The detail work on this bike is amazing. Chris was also glad to see that it stayed in Maryland.
