In other news, two crazy games this afternoon, after two rather subdued matches yesterday. This about sums it up

CR7 wasnt about to get his pretty face messed up - there wasnt a lot of space for that shot - but then again he never does play D.
Now I have another manager - Diego Simeone - no class.

What a comeback - didnt think MC could do it.

Chelsea won today - advancing into the round of 16.
It would be cruel if they end up playing Napoli.

Well, Gelsenkirchen is a bottom table team, after all. Though Sane sure is quality. He was good but not great when he played at Gelsenkirchen. Now he's a real threat. For all the complaints about Pep, the man knows how to coach and get the best out of his players. Sterling is another example.

to be fair, Sarri was gracious in explaining the situation, but there are so many choice words that would rightfully describe Kepa's petulant behavior

Either Kepa is gone or Sarri is gone.

My money is both are gone.

What a clown show, no wonder Hazard wants out.

Sarri - "you can't fire me - I quit".

nice article - thanks for sharing. I don't know much about Bahrain, but I'm not surprised. It's also messed up that Thailand will detain people on behalf of oppressive governments. The Thai govt is pretty scary.

PS - Hopefully the Shark will be switching teams.

Frustrating that Kane was offside and uncalled, but Arsenal is good enough to keep your interest and hope alive but not good enough to deliver. That said, if Man U grabs the last CL spot, they’ll have earned it.

All 5 goals in that Man U/Southampton game were great, as was the pk save.

At the break and Ajax up 2-0 on RM. Wow - if it stands they go thru.

just one more goal, and Real would have to respond by scoring three. would be hilarious to see Real get knocked out at home

Looks like dirtball Ramos will miss a few games next year. Delicious irony that his intentional carding made him miss the 2nd leg (as he intended) and helped to send his team packing
