Actually a few to choose from, but we needed to raise $$$$$ to get the kids through school.

So, one of my Kvales I guess.

Not regret, really. But all of them.
They are like fondly remembered friends.

I sold this frame with a nice carbon fork and nice Cane Creek headset for something like $350 or so here on the Paceline.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Retrotec-The-Half-Road-Bike-Frame-Curved-56cm-Green-Custom-Steel-Lugged-NAHBS/163245566241?hash=item260231a921:g:6KkAAOSwElVaf-5X:sc:FedExHomeDelivery!61761!US!-1:rk:2f:1&frcectupt=true

It sold in minutes so I probably under priced it. But I was hoping that someone would take it, maybe give it a new paint job and love the bike. I love the way it rode, it just didn't fit into my plans when I sold it. This ebay seller once had it priced at over $1000. I search for it every once and awhile. Would love to have it back at anywhere close to what I paid for it. Such is life.

Early 80s Somec Air w/Campy Super Record. Absolute rocket. Sold it due to financial difficulties. Oh well....

What is this "practice" you speak of: "selling a bike" ?

I still have all my bikes/frames I've purchased as an adult. Fortunately, I don't buy too often. Probably wouldn't hurt to thin the herd at some point.

I regretted selling my F8 (first year of production 2014 I think) to "upgrade" to an F10. Did not like the F10 nearly as much. Exchanged the F10 for a slightly used F8 at an LBS. Finding a 59.5 was not that easy. Lesson learned.

No pics, but I had a mind condition ‘86 Fuji Opus IV, pinkish champagne color. All original Suntour Superbe pro. Shame I let it go in college

3Rensho

Mine was a 3Rensho as well. Candy red 85ish Super Record Export Katana.
I bought it new from a Nashbar shop in town. They had it for a good couple years on display. Sometimes built up, sometimes just frameset. I drooled over it the entire time. It was finally discounted to what I was told, less than they paid. It was mine! I road it for10 years until my position changed due to injury. It had 2 very small rust spots, and no longer fit. I sold it for almost what I paid.
Fast forward. My position is back to where it used to be. I would really love to have it back. I've been looking for a replacement for years.
