Colnago Oval Cx Questions

Recently, I caught up with a guy who offered me some Kreitler rollers for free.

As I was picking them up, he mentioned that he might be interested in parting with a few bikes as well, including an early 80's Colnago Oval Cx with full SR and a good few panto'd parts. We didn't really talk prices or anything, but it seemed like there was a possibility that he'd let it go for not a ton of cash.

They seem fairly rare, and I couldn't find too much recent pricing for them in the used market, but let him know that it was probably worth more than he thought.

I keep thinking about it, and am considering getting back in touch, but was wondering how these actually ride? I think I came across some opinions saying they were way too flexy, and I'm not a lightweight, so this would be a consideration.

I'm also not sure if they're 'hang up in a shop' rare, or just not that common.

Any insights?
