Custom made rain cover for panniers?

I was planning on using ortlieb panniers for my cross country ride this April, but I’m thinking about using a Robert Beckmann panniers which i had for many years and never used it much. I am hoping someone can make custom size rain covers for these front and rear panniers to use in wet weather

Thanks in advanced

First look and see if any of the stock sizes from Arkel will work. Alternately you can buy dry bags or seam sealed bags that fit the interior dimension and put everything in them. They don't need to be exact.

Just a couple thoughts.

Edit: Beckman makes rain covers: http://robertbeckmandesigns.net/discovery_index.php

Ya, nothing beats a dry bag for staying waterproof. and you can use multiple small ones to help organize everything.

If you are dead-set on getting custom covers made I would be willing to work with you. I should be able to make two 30d silnylon covers for under $50. I run a custom bike bag shop so I have a significant amount of experience with sewing but I admit I have never made pannier rain covers before.
