Ever wondered what it’s like to pedal a bicycle at 184 miles per hour? Probably not. It’s an eccentric and wild proposition -- not to mention dangerous. But it’s precisely what Denise Mueller-Korenek, a former elite junior cyclist and 45-year-old mother of three, attempted last September on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

She rides and trains at the San Diego Velodrome. Really cool woman and pretty darn fast on a track bike.

You couldn't pay me enough to do this. Seems incredibly dangerous.
