Vintage Schwinn Paramount Tandem frameset 56cm/56cm - EXCELLENT - $280

Vintage Schwinn Paramount Tandem frameset 56cm/56cm - EXCELLENT - $280

Circa 1976 Schwinn Paramount T-22 tandem frameset. Schwinn's Paramount series were their higher end bikes. Chrome molybdenum alloy steel frame with internally lugged, fillet brazed construction. Some paint scuffs, otherwise, a beautifully made frameset in great condition.

Both the front "captain" and rear "stoker" seat tube heights are 56cm. Originally made for 27" wheels. 126mm rear hub spacing and with cantilever brake posts.
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/bop...323243466.html
Included is the frame, fork, headset bearing, a Huret front derailleur with an oversize clamp for the rear seat tube, plus a concentric bottom bracket shell in the front that allows precisely adjusting the chain tension between the two tandem cranksets. Last photo is from a Schwinn catalog showing how the bike was originally set up.

This is an uncommon vintage Schwinn Paramount tandem frameset in great condition. Great potential project for the upcoming Eroica vintage bike rally in Cambria/Paso Robles in September.

$280 firm. Low ball offers ignored. Local cash sale only in Palo Alto.
Please respond including your phone number.

Thanks for looking!

1958 Cinelli SC - $5,000 (oakland lake merritt / grand)

1958 Cinelli SC - $5,000 (oakland lake merritt / grand)

A beautiful example late 50's Cinelli. Well loved, un-altered. Hoping to see it go to a collector and continue to be seen and admired through it's non-restored and natural patina.

Frame alignment is perfect.

This bicycle came to me and my bicycle shop through a local racer who purchased it from Spence Wolf in Cupertino in 1958. He raced it locally and held onto this gem then sold it to my shop and we displayed it for 15 years there. I no longer have the shop and I'm just not the type to collect things.

Detailed Spec:

Frame - 1958 Cinelli SC 'Speciale Corsa' ( Super Corsa) Serial #6015

seat tube length (c-c) = 57
top tube length (c-c) = 55

tires - micheline tubs (cracking and non useable but will hold air)
Rims - Faimme tubular 'red label' Tercels
Hubs - Campagnolo low flange
Skewers: Campagnolo
Brake Calipers - Universal Extra
Brake Levers: Dia-Compe - classics with top-adjust
Shifters: Campagnolo down-tube friction
Cranks: Cinelli Marked Magistroni
Chain rings: Duralumin - 47 / 50
Pedal : campagnolo / M-Christophe cages / binda straps
Rear Cluster: 5spd Regina Gran-Sport (14-16-18-22-26)
Chain: Regina SC
Front Derrailleur: Campagnolo Gran-Sport (push-rod)
Rear Derrailleur: Campagnolo Gran-Sport
Saddle: Brooks B-17
Pillar: Campagnolo

Stem: Cinelli Badged 100 (10cm) length

Gotta agree with James Dak, the Granville is one sweet touring bike. Too steep for me, but if you have the dollars and want a very nice touring bike, this would likely fit your needs.

Yep, I don't need another bike for sure. But if this was listed at half that price I'd be taking leave from work today and going to get it.

WOW!! Talk about off the beaten path. I love me a Serotta CSI like that one but I don't think my friend in Miami is going to facilitate for me.
