DeSalvo Cycles Custom steel road bike 57cm w/ DuraAce Reynolds carbon Chris King

DeSalvo Cycles Custom steel road bike 57cm w/ Dura-Ace Reynolds carbon Chris King
I haven't been doing enough fast road riding to justify keeping this beautiful bike around.

The bike is a custom geo Mike Desalvo bike hand-built in OR in 2006. The geo is below:
57cm ett
55cm st ctc
170mm ht (not including headset cups)
73.5 ht angle
73 st angle

The angle measurements weren't taken by me, but everything else has been and checked out with the geo info I was given when I purchased it. The tubeset is Columbus Life w/ a carbon reynolds ouzo pro fork and a reynolds carbon seat stay. The downtube is ovalized or sort of tear drop shaped.

The build is mostly 9000 Dura-Ace, the exception being a 9100 front derailleur, and the 11-28 cassette - I can't remember the level (ultegra?) A bit of scuffing on the cranks but still very presentable. Cranks are 172.5 53-39. The DA chain is practically new.

The wheels are Easton EC90SL. Like new swiss stop carbon brake pads installed. Some brake track wear (can be seen in BB photo). They are my first/only carbon rim brake wheels, so I can't speak to their braking performance compared to anything else other than aluminum, but I never had any stopping problems with them.

Tires are bontrager 28's but measure narrower than that. I had a true 27 fit with wider rims, but I believe that's about the limit.

The cockpit features a Chris King headset, Thomson carbon bar wrapped in supacaz tape, Zipp 100mm beyond black stem, Thomson seapost clamp and an HED carbon wrapped post. Specialized romin evo comp saddle included, but the cages are NOT included No pedals included either.

I've never ridden it in the rain and it's always been hung up clean and dry. Spectrum paint/powder coat is clean with only small scuffs present, no chips, dents or dings. Please note that the OG owner had his nickname (or surname or something) painted on the top tube. I ignored it.

Will be well packed and shipped via bike flights in a bike box.
On Feb-07-21 at 15:26:58 PST, seller added the following information:
Adding that the saddle height as pictured is 76cm from center of BB to top of saddle.

Also, the bike weighs in at approx 17.5lbs as seen - minus pedals and cages.

Battaglin one for the big guys on Pro's closet

I know Pros closet doesn't always have great deals but this one seems okay since the size is unusual - 64! The group is record 12 speed and HED belgium wheels that all seem low mileage since it's a 2020
