OT: seeking dual-purpose swim trunks recommendation

looking for good swim trunks that look like everyday street-clothes cargo shorts, but made of quick-dry stuff and include a "tighty-whity" inner liner.

handy for vacation days when you're doing a mix of things when it's hot changing isnt really practical.

Always heard these were the best

I think they used to be called 2 way shorts. They are not cheap but made in the USA

they dont have the liner, but i practically live in patagonia board shorts in the summer. super durable and lightweight. they pack down very small too, i've used them to credit card tour, surf, go to the bar, and everything in between. get them in a solid color and they look just like any other shorts, but perform like champs. only one side pocket though...

and yea - no liner.

Patagonia

Pretty close to what you are asking for. 2 side pockets, 1 snap closure back pocket, ball net. Long enough to cover over biker tan legs. What I take on trips instead of both shorts and trunks:

I like my Rhone Fletcher Swim Trunk - dries fast, has a liner and versatile. I'll actually use them as workout shorts on squat or deadlift days.
