Alonso and Lahm

Two more greats that tied their shoes for the last time...
Both class acts IMHO and in many ways probably the pure opposite of Ibrahimovic.

I dont particularly like RM but they are scary effective, one has to admit.
Was hoping and expecting for a little more closed game so it would be exiting till the end but.. congrats to Real Madrid!!

Yeah that goal was incredible, all those passes then that finish

Despite that first early goal Juve looked good the first half and I was hopeful.
I so dislike CR (even though he can do this)

I feel badly for Gigi.
That Mandzukic goal was equal to the Z's (which started this thread).

As a huge Bayern fan I hope Hoeness and Rummenigge are not getting any crazy ideas.

was just about to chime in, but you fine gentlemen beat me to it

Why does ManU want another striker when Rashford has shown himself to be perfectly capable? I can understand wanting to have a second striker for squad rotation purposes, but the whole reason Morata is mentioned is because he doesn't want to play second fiddle.

snark aside, United has a great chance of advancing into the knockout stages of Champions League. Unfortunately, Malmo isn't even in Champion's League this year, so Zlatan can't visit his former stomping grounds.

I don't really have a favorite team, but I did happen to hop on the Pulisic hype train half a year before most hopped on that train (in early 2016), so I happen to have a soft spot for BVB. That they play a very attractive style of football makes the team easy to root for. Seems that they really got in a tough group with Real and Tottenham also present. Should be quite a few interesting matches. My guess is that Spurs will fold under pressure, yet again.
