You really think a draw, with no Aguero and Bravo fresh off the Learjet?
i've been known to be wildly incorrect on things, so...

How can you not love him?
i've seen highlights showing that ridiculous bicycle kick before, but wasn't sure of the context. World Cup qualifiers?

Nope friendly. First game on our new national arena. Zlatan scored all 4 swedish goals in that game against England. Nobody has ever done that b4 ever (score 4 vs england that is) and they were all pretty nice. But he can't score against the english they said.. now 4 goals in 4 games in england as well. He is out to conquer yet another domain

I think that bicycle kick is a great goal but i still think when he outmuscles Buffon and scores with a back heel with the defender who can't reach it in the last minutes vs italy in euro 2004 is my fav goal. Out of this world control. Zlatan is king of back heels no doubt.

Theres only one zlatan!!!:

Tough call tomorrow AM.

Manchester Derby on NBC Sports & Celtic-Rangers on FS1 on about the same time.

Quality -- no doubt; City vs. United. Pure atmosphere -- prob the Old Firm.

I'll be flipping back & forth.

Once again, I will call your The Zlatan and raise you a Pippo Maniero, served by "El Chino" Recoba, for the great AC Venezia (now in Serie D-- ):

Even The Zlatan can't beat that!

I respectfully beg to differ ref the atmosphere (on the quality we completely agree). This will be the first time Rangers & Celtic square off in years in the Scottish Prem after the 'Gers got sent down. I expect the atmosphere to be electric (and a bit intimidating). Perhaps some other time it wouldn't be so charged, but this first time for the supporters on both sides...

...Absence does not always make the heart grow fonder

Especially charged if Sir Rod is there!
And I'm hoping he will be present.

(I did see Celtic-Partick Thistle in, of all places, Halifax, Nova Scotia many, many years ago, in one of those summer friendlies and I admit that even there the atmosphere was...frenzied, to say the least.

I don't know if that was because of 2 Scottish teams playing each other, or because of NS beer-consumption, though. Maybe both factors. )

change that to Dortmund or Gladbach and you'd have a better comparison

Schalke is a sleeping giant, with coach Weinzierl and Manager Heidel they might get their sh*t together sooner than people think. Lots of exciting talent in that team, for the past few years.

Football is so much more than the quality of play. Bayern - schalke will never match united-city even if they do/did quality wise.

3hours to go tic tac..

Only so many couriers in stockholm, different company tho. Im not a person who get starstruck, never even had a real idol growing up. But if that was me the movie would look very different..

Thats a nice goal but z has got like 5 incredible back heels anyone can get lucky

There are a couple of derbys which easily outrank city-united.. like the old firm, or Schalke-Dortmund. But it *is* a nice tie, i agree

now Utd just need a goal in the second half and another in Fergie time

i know nothing about football, other than the fact that i'm too clumsy to play it...
