Campagnolo compatible 142mm thru axle hubs?

I'm looking to build up a new set of 700c wheels and had planned on building them using a DT Swiss '240' 142mm thru axle hub (ideally the 6-hole not centre lock variant).

I've found a DT Swiss '240' MTB thru axle hub but from reading forum posts I don't think a Shimano road cassette would fit; only the MTB cassettes (apologies if that sounds silly as it clearly states MTB).

Is it possible to convert the said hub hub for use with a Campagnolo groupset? Or put an 11 speed shimano road cassette on using a new freehub body.

I've emailed DT Swiss to check compatibility but haven't had an answer although I have found a DT Swiss freehub body part number for Campag.

I already have a set of tubular rims laced to Chris King thru axle hubs but I prefer using my CK hubs in dry conditions, hence I'd opted for DT Swiss as I've heard the seals are very good.

These new would be a clincher set of wheels for year round use.

If not DT Swiss can someone suggest an alterntive?

Thanks in advance

Your option is to get a shimano 11s freehub body and then a 'road' 12/142 thruaxle end cap for 11s shimano FHB..
QBP part number is
HU 1372

I don't think there is a Campagnolo FHB 12/142 end cap...

Many thanks for the speedy response (said with the utmost respect I had a sneaky feeling you might be able to help )

Okay, so it sounds as though it is possible to use the DT Swiss 240 MTB 142mm thru axle hub, albeit with a new FHB and end caps.

I found this part here in the UK which I think is correct:

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spar...ad-12-x-142mm/

..and these end caps:

https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/col...0-and-350-hubs

Along the way this also turned up (although out of stock):

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spar...2mm-hbdt7154s/

Would this Campag FHB and end cap work with the hub I plan on purchasing?

Thanks again.

Again, many thanks and you'll please excuse my ignorance. The variety of DT Swiss parts and spares available make it a bit of a minefield as they say.

I've been using Campagnolo for so long now and up until the point I bought into disc for all weather use, have never really considered anything other than the older Record silver oversize hubs for my road bikes (and black Record model for winter).

I'll PM you regarding the freehub body.
