winter cycling cap

With heat warnings happening, it's hardly the time the think about winter cycling gear. But I went down a rabbit-hole and here I am.
This is my quandry. I had a great winter cycling cap that was made my a woman in Chicago, but she stopped making them. I lost mine last year, so got a wool one off etsy to replace it. But the brim doesn't sit flat on my forehead like my old cap did. It's more rigid, so it stands up, and cold air swirls underneath the brim onto my forehead/brow. Not what I want in a cap.
Anybody have recommendations for a brim that is gonna keep my brow toasty? These two look okay, but the brims look rigid and it's hard to tell how it will sit:

Soft on the head (no itching) and brim is small which works nicely under helmet.

Rothera or Walz are the correct answers

I have a black wool Waltz cap with ear flaps. I haven’t used it in years and never used it much because wool often makes me itch too much. PM me if you might be interested and I can shoot you some photos when I’m back home on Saturday. I can give you a very good price.

I use a Swix ski hat. It is red, and white, and Nordic. My helmet stays on the peg.

45Nrth wool cap and a helmet one size larger than normal to allow the cap to fit nicely. That’s my setup and it works well. I rarely go more than 75-90 minutes in temps lower than about 28°-30°F so that’s a reference point. Colder than that or wet and I’m on Zwift.

I appreciate the suggestions, all. I forgot to mention ear flaps are a must. Usage conditions are between about 10-40 degrees. The walz look most like what I'm looking for, but could always just go with a cheap, all purpose knit hat.

I have a wool Sugoi that is just fine in bad winter weather, with a stiff brim and good ear coverage. I kind of wish it wasn't fine so I could try a Rothera.

I have a few caps from RandiJo. One of them is the waxed canvas flip cap. Easily my favorite riding cap. Couldn't say if it meets your specific need though.
