re:
I have Chris King, FSA, Cane Creek, and a Velo Orange headset on different bikes... IMHO they all work quite well.

That shade of brown has been out of production for a while. It also looks new, in spite of being listed as used. There's no scoring marks from where it was pressed in and knocked out of the head tube. $170 for a new King headset in a rare color doesn't sound like a bad price, but you're going to need to find that special buyer for sure.

I've found that the right color Chris King headset will instantly add an average of 20W to my FTP. So far, mango has yielded the greatest gains. Who knew?
Seriously though, I think some frames just "deserve" a nice headset, while others get a FSA, Cane Creek, or another uninspiring-but-completely serviceable headset. Am I going to pay above retail for a "special" color? Nope, but a little understated bling here and there isn't a bad thing- especially when it's made by a company that truly ares about their product.

Is rare for them to set a price like that in a part... wonder if the guy who took the headset with them wants a lot of dough for it.
For that money you can get a mint record C and bling bling your friends with it :P saying that because I'm not like fan of king headsets too much, not saying are bad ok... just dont fill my taste in headsets. |

I thought the documentary about where General Tso's chicken came from was pretty interesting. New York, IIRC
