I think you're misinterpreting what they wrote. I believe that the "latest development" of the LinkedIn account was just someone noticing her old LinkedIn account having a connection to Bali.

The linkedin bit is very vague IMO.

I mean - I follow some companies on linkedin with global presence, if I go on the run, speculating that I'm in romania because my linkedin account is linked to a company that does business there is ridiculous.

there may be more to it than that, but we just dont know based on the press release.
