New meaning for the bicycle term "half-wheeling"

And you thought that in cycling, "half-wheeling" meant riding just ahead of the rider(s) next to you. But here's a whole new meaning for "half-wheeling":

Every time is see one of these contraptions, I say “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

However, reminds me of these…

i don't understand the storyline:

- guy's out riding his bike
- front wheel explodes upon head-on impact with curb
- cuts both wheels in half and re-engineers rear part of bicycle
- buys entirely new front wheel

how does modifying the rear of the bike solve a problem that occurred with the front of the bike?

why modify the rear at all? why not just put on a new front wheel, like he did anyway?

If he was able to do that during a ride, he wasn't using disc brakes, and definitely not hydro.

Excellent. You forgot "planing", but on the other hand, I can't remember what the heck planing is, but know that some folks are deep into it.

What I don't get is why he didn't cut the rotors in half - unnecessary weight
