At the local shop holiday party a few years ago, my buddy wins a really nice road helmet.

I won a jar of Assos chamois cream. Still sitting in my closet unopened because I never felt the need to use it. I think I understand the theory of it reducing chafing……..if you have that issue. I’ve never had, guess I’m lucky. Plenty of all day rides here in east coast heat and humidity.

Doesn’t the residue contaminate the chamois after using it a number of times? I just picture it in that environment getting rubbed deep into the fabric and not washing out completely.
