Fifty West (formerly Oakley) Cycles going away

Announcement on their FB page that 2022 is their last year.

Sad to see a shop with such a long history going away but it appears to be a sign of the times.

Good luck to Kathy and their gang!!

BK

Very sad

I am in Cinti and have bought a few bikes from them. I see Kathy about once a year for a fit ck up. She is very good with fits and I have been working with her for many years. I may work with her on a custom frame before they finish.

David and Kathy are both good people and have helped the bike community a lot in the area,

Alan

Sad, I grew up in Oakley not far from the original location - just behind it actually. I got my first bike from them 20 Something years ago. I had no idea they were running the shop at 50W.

I remember going into Oakley when I got into bikes to gawk at all the Sevens. Sad that they're going away — they're good people.

btw...hi Alex!
