only way a Bills fan ever knows that winning feeling I guess.
First Thurman loses his helmet and now kids lose their dogs.

Yeah man that's awesome.
I took my dog to a strange city/house today to visit a friend. She had to stay outside, and after sniffing around a bit she sat on the patio and waited a couple of hours for me to finish the visit and come get her.

Our son is at basic training USAF and has been gone ~ 5 wks. The other dog (I gave him for his 12th bday) sniffed at his door yesterday after we returned home from a hike; someone had almost closed his door normally it remains open. She was wagging her tail like mad when she thought he might be home. But was disappointed.

Dogs are the only reason I'm agnostic, and not atheist.

Not trying to start anything, just speaking for myself.

Though, if there was a god, why do dogs have such a short life? You would think the most perfect creature would live longer.

Dog bless us all. Some dyslexic created another deity thing a long time a go.
I teach English here in Japan and push "Oh my Dog" and "Dog bless you" are perfect exclamations and replies to sneezes.

Thread Drift: Not sure if you like sci-thrillers...but check this out:
https://www.amazon.com/Crucible-Thri.../dp/0062381784

Connection to your comment is that the protagonist invents an advanced AI and needs to teach it "humanity"....gives it a virtual dog, that dies over and over again....the AI needs to learn how to deal with it....more to it than that obviously, but I liked the concept...cheers.

Back to original post....Could not be happier for the boy that he got his dog back.....but WTH is the mom doing videoing and posting her adolescent son at his more vulnerable moment???!?

Sheesh....

Full blown atheist here...I love dogs, well, I love my dog. There are a LOT of not so nice dogs out there but maybe their owners love them. Funny how few seem to ever let them out of the yard for a walk. Dog may be man's best friend,I just wish our species would reciprocate more often.

I've spent hours it seems watching these types of videos. Puppy surprises, pet adoptions, secret Santas, surprise reunions, etc. Proves there are still good people in the world. Watched one last night where a guy was doing an ultra distance running race in China. Through all kinds of terrain. He met a dog on the course that followed him. For 76 miles!! He wanted to take him back to England but the dog had to be quarantined per Chinese law. So he went home then flew back to China to find the dog. After a few days he found it. And he spent 5 months in China during the quarantine process so he could bring the dog home. Unbelievable bond and an incredible human being. Think there is a book about it called Finding Gobi.
