What bike would you buy for $6000

If you had a $6000 budget for a new bike, what would you get?

I know this is not at all what you are asking.

But you get a super nice used bike, like the top top top of the line and a weekend trip to some really really nice places to ride maybe even italy for that kind of cash.

That said id do a custom steel gravel bike bike with campy hydro for that monnies.

Judging from past behavior, I’d get 2-3 used custom Ti bikes that don’t fit me very well.. Zing!

Most likely a BMC SLR01 with Ultegra.
I'd also have a good look at a Cannondale Supersix EVO HiMod.

For that money you can get at least two NOS record C top of the line bikes, if not 3.

Same here. I had the opportunity to ride one and it's hard to describe the positive feedback and comfort from the machine. It's exceptional.

I'd build whatever I wanted for that. To date, the C60 is the best bike I've ridden to date. I had high hopes for the SLR01 but never ended up building it.

To be honest, I'd spend ~$3500 building a bike before $6000 buying any complete bike I've seen. Especially if you're talking carbon. And probably enjoy it more.

Wet paint aluminum Zanconato with Ultegra/Force/Chorus and use the spare cash to upgrade the wheels.

A pretty colored bike with ETap and ENVE 4.5 wheels. Must be a pretty color. Or maybe a matte carbon weave. Or natural finished Ti. Or a pretty colored bike.
