PSA Cheap Urban/MTB shirt

I hope this is useful for someone…

I had been wanting a really basic jersey that didn’t look like a jersey for riding my urban bike. I wanted a rear pocket though. I never found the one I wanted.

Fast forward I have been doing a ton of yard work and it has been 90+ for weeks. So I ordered a goofy big hat and picked up a long sleeve SPF 50 shirt. Boy it is so much better. I would occasionally use a hose to mist the shirt and work away. No sunscreen in my eyes either.

Well it turns out it has a rear zip pocket! I know have 4. They are great for my urban bike. The zipper pocket opening is not large enough for the large pocket area but for the money they are fantastic for this use.

Available on coupon at Costco for $8.

Looks like only XL and XXL. I have been looking for shirts like this--tee with back pockets--and will be posting a wool one, short sleeve, that didn't fit me.

I am 6’0” and a muscular 195. The large fits well on me. It is snug on my arms but I doubt that is going to be a concern for most.

The fabric seems somewhat heavy but it is very breathable and does not seem hot.

If you can get to a store they are carrying them and locally they had all sizes.

Primal

On that note.
I picked up one of these from Primal wear, if a small fits you, this jersey is awesome.
And at that price it is nuts

It's got a zippered pocket and some reflective accents

Only XXL left, which seems a bit much. If anyone picked up an XL that does not work, and wants to move it on, shoot me a note. Looks like I'd get a lot of use from it.

Although not in that price range, Catella has a nice classy grey riding shirt with a back pocket.
