Over sized rotors?

I just replaced my worn XT rotors with TRP 35
They seem to be slightly larger than 160mm spec
When they get hot and expand the edge of the rotor rubs the caliper body (XT). Just barely but enough to hear it and to cause rub marks on the outside edge of the rotor and the inside of the caliper. It stops after about 10 seconds of cool-down. I've moved the caliper up as far as it can go but it still rubs. I considered filing the rotor but I thought that might cause it to delaminate.

I think a few spacers on the brake caliper should fix this easily.

If it’s 6 bolt some rotor shims would be easier so you don’t have to remove the caliper for rotor swap

Good point, I guess I am confused if you need side-side space or additional height? Rotor spacers good for the side-side, caliper mount spacer for up-down.

The way I understand, you’re saying the diameter of the rotor is slightly larger than 160mm? Simply add a washer to the post mount (or is mount).

Oh I see I misread that.

Youre right some spacers ought to do the trick but thats odd... did you take some calipers to the rotors?

yup, the diameter is too large
