Thanks for all the contributions. So the fork is conceived by Pegoretti and then made by someone in Taiwan.

Is Taiwan 'where it's at' (the state of the art) for carbon bicycle component fabrication? Or, is it still the cost consideration?

Taiwan is at the forefront of CF design and manufacturing. There may be some cost consideration, but economically it costs less to have a CF manufacturer design and build your design.

I have three Falz forks on various frames, none of them (unfortunately) being a Pegoretti. One on a Zanc aluminum (my Love 3 replica), one on a Parlee Z1, and one on a Hampsten ti. They are great forks. I do wish they came in a 43 or 40mm rake, but otherwise, they're as good as anything out there. IMO way better than Enve 2.0 forks.
