Interested In What Wheelset Is Best

Im 5 Feet 11 Inches Tall And Im 215 Lbs, So Im Looking For A Tubular
Wheelset For My New Frame Set Up A 2009 Time Rxr Ulteam Vip
Help Out The Doctor, Last Bike I Had Mavic Carbone Ultimates
But They Were Noisy And Was Not Crazy Bout Them

When you say 'noisy,' what do you mean? Is it the hum of the carbon rims that you don't like? If so, you might be out of luck with any of the blingified carbon jobbies out there since all of the deep carbon wheels I can think of make that sound (but I love it, so it works for me).

Or are you talking about the hub noise?

The right wheels really depends on the type of riding you are doing. Tell us a little about what kind of riding you like to do and what you want from your next wheelset.

If you want the bling and the performance to match, go with Carbonsports lightweights. Most that can afford to have them love them.

DT hubs and tubular rims......built up light.......

another option is ZIPP CSC team wheels......


Lay out your requirements...

Tubular
Light but stong for 215 lbs
Budget amount
Tubular tire you will be using mostly. (Good ones cost $$ but if you are not using good ones then ask yourself why you want tubulars..
Talk to one of the wheel builders that post here and do it for a business.

THEN MAKE YOUR DECISION>>>>>>
