TDF rider selling bikes?
Saw this eBay auction Colnago C-50
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110209265831 and noticed the seller has several high end bikes for sale (Colnago C-50, Pinarello Dogma Pro Carbon, Look 496 Carbon Pro, etc. ) Says he rode a Vortex in the 2006 TDF, wonder if he means as a racer or on vacation? BTW, just noticed also it shows at the top of the C-50 listing it is cross-selling under Collectibles-Republican Party-Other Party Items |

Litespeed in '06?
Lawton, OK is where I was born....no pro's that I know of there I wasn't aware there was a bike builder to the Euro peloton living there either, but I suppose it's possible.
Dude must've meant "when I was following the Tour". Has anyone ridden a Litespeed badged Litespeed in the Tour since Lotto in '02? Last edited by KJMUNC; 01-01-2008 at 06:14 PM. |

This is what I hear from a buddy in Lawton...
"His name is ***********. He is a local real estate broker and by his definition the fastest guy in Lawton if not all of Oklahoma. He is personal friends with Lance Armstrong and by his accounts snubbed Miguel Indurain for an autograph. Johnny can tell you more about him since he regularly beats Johnny in TT's. If you can't tell by his listing this guy is full of s***, but does have some nice bikes that the bike shops put together not him. Also if you buy anything from him you wont have to worry about any wear and tear since the guy never rides them and to my knowledge has never raced, but that may be because he was so far ahead of me I never saw him." |
