2019 Philly Bike Expo

Roll Call!

Who's going and on what day? Looks like an impressive list of exhibitors this year.

Never been but thinking of cashing in some FF points to go.

Worth it? Where to stay? Comments welcome.

Thanks.

As long as I can still get a hotel within walking distance of the convention center I am going. Flights are cheap from Boston. Sat/Sun.

Looks like a Saturday for me. Anyone interested in a ride early AM thru the Amish country, then a trek down to Philly, hit me up. Plenty of clean towels and a warm shower available.

Will any past attendees let me know if you need 1 or 2 days for the show.

I am trying to determine if I should fly down and back from Boston in 1 day or stay overnight if there is enough to see (not wanting to feel rushed) to need 2 days.

Might be interested in your offer. Wife and I are coming from upstate NY.

Let's keep an eye on the weather. I'd be happy to accommodate. I have a nice 2-2.5 hour loop with around 2.5k ft of climbing. We can keep it a B-C Pace. Plenty of time to clean up and follow me to the city(about 45 min. away)

I have been attending for at least 6 years. I am sure that one day is enough unless you find a builder that you want to spend several with. But you may want to consider the second day to walk through the historic area. And you certainly spend several hours across the street at the Reading Terminal market sampling lots of yummy different foods

For those that expressed an interest in joining me for a ride before the expo, I tore my gastroc yesterday, and possibly the tendon. While the event is a couple weeks away, I'm afraid I'll be out of commission. It's hell to even walk right now.

I still plan on going on Saturday and hope to meet many of you. Agreeing with johnniecakes, definitely hit the terminal market.

Will be there. Shameless plug for my partner's new and upcoming bike shop, Keystone Bike Co.. They'll have a table with shirts and patches.

We are kicking around doing a Philadelphia Dynamo Headlight Society Expo Dyno ride, but I don't think any of us are available to lead it. We did one last year but it's hard to get folks to do a night ride after spending all day either as a vendor or as an attendee; most people just want to rest and recharge for day 2.
