Photos and a video from several recent gravel rides on Antelope Island (near SLC, UT)

Here's some GoPro footage Kind of an eerie sound track but I think it works for the scenery and lighting. Includes a few encounters with some Bison too. Rear facing camera first half then mounted to my stem the last half. I took my new Gravel sled out to the island just after the first snow. Surprisingly, I had ZERO traction issues with the WTB Byway tires. It was a wonderful evening of riding...just blissful. The Cycling Gods were smiling.

I took my sister, two nieces and a nephew snow biking.

Base of Grand Targhee Resort in the Teton mountain range.

It's not an electric fence - it's easy to see if one is electric because they have an insulator between the post and the wire, typically plastic though ceramic was used in the past. Horses are pretty good about not going through or over a fence but they do at times. And that's actually a heavy duty fence for horses IMO....we ran 3 strands of wire in our pasture and that was good enough.

Nice pics and video. You're braver than I would have been around the buffalo...I'd have given them a bit wider berth.

Thank you choke pal. I wouldn't know how to answer angry pal, I am a city boy myself, just lucky to be living at a place where in just 5 miles or less put me in quiet rural roads.

Come on down and visit me angry pal. I will rebuild the MXL back up just for you. It's the smallest bike I got.

today

Everybody is freakin' out because of incremental weather moving in tonight, schools and offices are sending out advanced notices of closure for tomorrow. Glad I rode three days in a row.
