Figured this was relevant, since many of you (non locals) seem interested in the brand.

Also, likebikes, financial issues, competition, etc. I posted an article outlining the issues earlier in the thread.

Ibex

I ordered one in small based on their sizing chart. It fits me perfectly. 5'10 and 145ish.

On the way

My order is on the way. I am pretty nervous about a jacket i bought in XL based on the reviews saying it was small. If its not small it will be too big for me. Even more nervous now that its price dropped by 30% but there is nothing i can do about it!

I got some medium bibs locally that made my legs look like unappetizing sausage...and yet the large baselayer had me swimming in it...luckily I was able to return the bibs...and find the baselayer a good home...but man, buying kit of the internet without being able to return is a bit of an iffy proposition...

Is this a thread of hope?

I don't really know exactly what this implies.

Nice

I go S or M depending on which item. I have a half dozen t-shirts in S and half dozen sweaters and hoodies in M but some I wash cold and shrink to fit in a cool dryer. I can wear S or M in Shak stuff based on how I want it to fit. I buy it as street wear so I buy M.

Love the stuff.

I sort of gave up on a lot of the cycling stuff except for some commuting and touring.

It would be great if they could survive and evolve and not get too diluted.

Tough business.

Hey I placed an order right at the end on Jan 5, still not arrived. They did say to expect some delay, but it's a month now.

Anyone else waiting on orders?

It is a small order, but still.

I ordered a pair of shorts a couple of weeks ago and it came in about a week. I assume your order got lost in the shuffle somehow. Not sure anyone is answering the mail there or not. Good luck

I ordered some of the Gallatin pants. Came in 4-5 days, despite warnings it might take a week.

I placed an order on 12/21 for 4 items, and received 3 items around the middle of January. The last item was never shipped and was removed from my order, so I'm guessing they ran out of that one.

Sad to see any company specializing in merino wool going out of business but I always found their products to be really hit or miss.

I was a member of their "pro deal" program and have quite a few pieces but some of the cuts of their casual clothing were really bizarre.

That said, I have a few bibs/knickers/jerseys and love them.

Hope everyone gets their gear...
