Allez Sprint

Picked this up used with a stock build in November. The guy I bought it from said he only rode it a few times and it looked like that was the case. I replaced the 105 with Ultegra 6800 bits and a Specialized Carbon crankset. Currently it has a new wheelset I just built up last week on it. This thing is speedy, but surprisingly comfortable in my opinion. It is perfect for crits and fast group rides, but I don't really mind sitting on it for the 4hr rides either. Definitely doesn't hold me back any.

Build Specs:
58cm
Ultegra Shifters, RD, FD 11-28 Cassette
Sram Rival Brakes with no logos
Specialized Carbon Crankset 172.5 52/36
Specialized Power Arc Expert saddle
Specialized Aerofly 42cm bars
Wheelset is 38mm Farsports rims laced to Bitex hubs 20/24 with Sapim Laser/Race spokes
KEO Classic pedals

Jake

I am not able to make it go as fast as it is capable of that is for sure.

Agreed, the orange tape was on clearance and I grabbed it because I like the wrap. I will be going back to black soon.

That frame in that color just looks perfect. Black accents rock, too. Any idea max tire size you could run? 28s?

I have S-Works Turbos on right now and they measure a little over 27mm with room to spare. A true 28mm would easily fit. I wouldn't want to go much larger than that.

700x25 Schwalbe Pro1's on HED JET+ rims fill up to 29mm and fit on my allez sprint. Width is not the limiter for me, it's the height of the tires of the brake caliper that would stop any larger tires from fitting height wise.

I'm not usually a fan of curved top tubes or dropped seat stays, but the whole thing together just works here.
