Campy Powertorque BSA BB availability

Been toying with putting on a Campy CX powertorque crankset on my gravel/fender road bike. I'm rebuilding it w/Campy 10, so it'll all be nice and matchy matchy. The CX cranks seem easily available (and affordable), but it's been hard tracking down a BSA PT BB. I was able to find a few places with stock, but not many. Curious if folks think this is a result of the COVID parts scarcity or is Campy phasing out their Powertorque lineup? Not sure I want to commit to a new BB interface if I cant get new consumables in the future.

powertorque is a dead standard. campy used it for a while but completely abandoned it now. all of the groups use UT currently.

i had a hard time finding a BSA one last year too. i would not choose to go PT now for that very reason.

Gotta agree with angry on this one. That being said if you need a PT English BB i have one.

Catch is you gotta take the crank too but it’ll be cheap

All true and kinda a shame as the 'system' works well and uses 7mm vs the rarer 6mm width bearing.

BUT, yes, introduced and then back to UT..kinda like the steel/ti axle rear hub and 9s freehub body..made only 2 years.

I'll email the dudes at Campag, NA to see if they have any PT BB cups.

Yee gads..not even available at Campag, ITL..shame. Disc, clincher wheels, 1by stuff, dogs and cats living together...

(Forehead slap)...

BUT...these bearings, even the ones in the LH cup, can be replaced..6805, 7mm width.
