Yeah; good times. I made a wrong turn at the covered bridge, went up some steel grade, only to back track and come back across the bridge to find a steeper grade waiting for me.

Good times. Roads were dry for the most part. I must say, some folks have some baller skills on non-tarmac surfaces.

I cramped up about 8-9 miles out from the finish. Was hobbling along until I flagged down the SAG vehicle.
I was in decent shape, but it’s still early in the season. If this ride were in the summer sometime, I would have been fit enough to push it a bit harder.

I will definitely sign-up next year.

Had a pretty good ride, but despite running tubeless I flatted hard on a seemingly harmless stretch of gravel.

Was working with a buddy to patch and boot it but it was honestly looking like the end of the ride. Thankfully the bike van hooked me up with a new rear tire and got me rolling in about 15 minutes.

The rest stops and the feed afterwards were really good. Pretty sure that regardless of how much I stuffed in my belly I burned more calories than I consumed.
