It is a bit odd, but I dont find its an issue though. The housing bend is less extreme than the same setup I have on another bike with a flat mount mechanical caliper.

Functionality aside, it's an aesthetic thing. External cabling for the win on all **purposeful/meaningful/maintenance**levels. Along w/post mount, hahahaha. I know y'all love your sleek looks.
