Good call Bruce.

Pete was a true gentleman, in the best sense of the word.

Thank you for the reminder, Bruce.
I will think of Pete when I ride through the vineyards tomorrow.

The man is missed.

Always generous and an even hand, but not afraid to put the hammer down when warranted.

I'll tip a glass to Pete tonight.

He was one of the warmest and most genuine people I've ever met.

Wanted to see what the hubbub was about. Started reading and seems like someone to know. I remember some of his post and some of those talking about him.

Happy Birthday Pete!

I never got to meet him but his moderating here was tremendous, a class act.
He always knew the right ting to say.

Bruce, thanks for the reminder. Pete was a great person and I too miss him. Fortunate enough to go on a couple of rides with him, and plenty of chats on the phone. Would love to go back and do that again.

Thinking of you my friend.

Pete was a good friend. Many fond memories of riding with him. He and his lovely wife Linda hosted me as a guest a number of times.

I am better for having known him

Remembering Pete on his birthday. I'm not a drinker...but if I was, then I would be having a glass of red tonight in his honor.

Sobering for me since it feels literally like yesterday that someone here remembered his last birthday.....but now one year ago.
