Likely the beginnings of a phishing scam...next step is they probably ask to communicate with you off of Strava...and then ask for your bank account information, etc. etc. etc.

Fun stuff.

Looks like Strava's already on top of it-
the Kudo from a (ahem) photogenic 'runner' (one activity) was removed within an hour.

Anybody else seeing removals?

Strava needs to up their game when it comes to enhanced privacy, reporting spam accounts, etc.

I pay for a "premium" account but my options when it comes to privacy and managing my account from a privacy perspective are very limited.

I think it's to drive traffic to porn sites and or possibly prostitution. I just noticed my first one the other day. A very scantily clad hot young babe who commented on my profile, 'Hey, wanna F$%^."

I just road 105 miles, too tired but thanks.

Same happened to me yesterday, gone within a few hours.

Not sure what the end game is, but I blame Russia anyway.

Yup, several followers mysteriously disappeared. Apparently I'm not as popular as I thought!

Me too! How in the world they ride in thongs and nothing else is beyond me.

I do wish Strava would add “report” and “block” buttons to its “kudos” interface so I would not have to navigate into the adult models’ profile pages to block them. I’m getting tired of the spam.

Do you want to meet hot singles in your local area?

Download "Stravini" for Chrome. It gives you back control of the feed (chronological, filter virtual rides, etc.)

I was going to abandon Strava completely after the last update, and Stravini made it sane again.

Nope. I was just funning around. I'm not even on Strava and have no idea what's going on. But upon reflection, my jest seems plausible I suppose.

Do you mean StravistX? I have that and it does it for Chrome but it doesn't help for mobile apps which is most of my usage. StravistX is great because it gives you most of the premium features like the PMC for free. I don't really need that though because I do pay for Training Peaks which is better for that anyway.
