All the bikes in the pelOton are electronic, all of them. BUT electronic group sales, either after market or OE, are still a small part of the 'bike sales' equation. That's why Campag and shimano still make really excellent mechanical groups, both rim brake(biggest seller still) and disc brake.

I once wondered if perhaps a 1st-gen Di2 Dura-Ace gruppo might hold some future collector value, but apparently a shortage of replacement rear derailers is taking that particular gruppo out of the game.
And then there were Zap and Mechtronic, have they appreciated in value yet?
And I'm still waiting for my Polaroid camera to go up in value now that the film is back in production!
I have a huge cycling computer on my 1979 Peugeot that I've begun to wonder when it might appreciate. I features a handful of modes, AA batteries, and responds to keypad input in 5 seconds or so! Yeah, it's wired.
