thats a r3awak3n special

I took the flap from the front fender of the PDW metal fender, drilled the enve fender and screwed it right in. That fender needs a flap bad, its not long enough so this solution works great and looks nice all matched up with the rear.

BUT, on that bike, disc brakes..gravel? Gonna hear a LOT of gravel that the tires pick up scrape the underside of those, being so close.

Not going to do much gravel in winter mode, maybe some quick connecting roads but most will see pavement. Tires are close to fenders but plenty of space for some rocks to pass through.

How about new bike that will get fenders day?

Got word last night that the powder and clear coat done and it’s on its way back home. I have PDW fenders although I’m tempted to get some shiny ones.

The only thing better than new fenders is not needing fenders!

fenders rule!

i tell you guys, you were all right when i asked a while ago. it's definitely possible to have dead silent fenders if you spend the time to really dial them in and get them mounted securely. it's great to just have a foul weather bike on the hook to grab when it gets sloppy out.

Replaced some WTB Nano 700x40 tires with GK 700x35 and added Planet Bike ALX fenders. Don't mind the weird fit around the rear brakes since it fits a bit close to the brake cables.
