Lake MX237 Shoe Fit: Heel Rub

I just picked up a set of Lake MX237's. They are great, BOA's are amazing, Size 44.5 is right on the money. Left foot fine, right foot is getting some serious heel rubbing and now a blister after a 10x runups last weekend. Has anyone else come across this?

These are NOT heat moldable according to Lake.

Maybe the bad feet is smaller or has less volume...

This is what I would try, btw no idea exactly you have the blister but this can help you to tweak the thing.

If the heel is lose you have to move the foot back a little bit, to do that just put a little piece of handlebar tape perpendicular (side to side, not along the shoe tongue) at the top of the shoe tongue, that will shim the foot to get back a little bit, firmer grip of the heel.

Personally I do not like the solution of putting something in the heel.

Another solution that could mix with the handlebar tape thing, is to get a smaller insole, like half a number or a number smaller, that will make the heel go lower and fit better, then put the tape at the tongue.

Hope this helps to get creative because pretty much is a thing of test what works for you the best.
