Garmin (Edge 500) tabs...toast

Just noticed that the dog ears on the back of my Garmin Edge have somehow become whittled down to measily nubs over time....like, probably 6-7 years or so. I suppose I could upgrade, but I don't really need all the big whiz-bang, high zoot features. Can this thing be repaired easily, or is it toast?

Thanks!

there are a bunch of aftermarket repair kits for this reasonably common problem.

here is one, but googling will show a bunch of others. if the unit is still working well, definitely worth a few bucks to fix that over buying new.
