I apparently can't search -- Decal supplier
Looking for under-clearcoat decals. I know it's been discussed ad nauseum, but I can't seem to locate the recommendations.
Thanks, and sorry

I had really good experience with Gus Salmon's water transfer decals.
Not cheap but high quality stuff. He's on Facebook and member of CR. |

for your own design, or an existing design? Lots easier to get classic designs than one you drew up

I just had some custom decals made for me by SSS Ink (https://www.sssink.com/). I was very happy with the process and the quality.

A second for Gus Salmon. Been using his work on all my frames for the last couple years.

Gus told me he wouldn't do them for me. But I think that's when his printer was broken. I should check again

Is there something to these decals that's beyond a vinyl cut decal? Just curious...

Water slide decals are much thinner than anything vinyl cut, so there's much less clear work required to fair out the edges. Also, Gus' artwork is top notch, and if you're looking for some repro stuff for a retro build, some old stuff, multi-color classic decals, he's your guy.
