I use it currently. It's still free, and still a thing:

This has been a very informative thread, thanks Forumites! I'm looking at both Golden Cheatah and the free version of Training Peaks. Both appear more in depth dive into the data than Strava.

So far I very much like the Wahoo Roam, it's simple, yet packed with features. I like that the cadence, speed and heart rate devices pair quickly and without drama.

TP is a nice app. I have 14 days of premium via Wahoo. So far so good. I need to try out the full website and upload a couple months of data. I also like the FTP calculation. It's pretty much spot on.

Thanks everyone!

I have almost 2 decades of data it, but, no more.
My riding data goes back more than 30 years. From spreadsheets, through POLAR and Sportstracks, to eventually settling into Ride With GPS. RWGPS won't do the kinds of advanced analysis you need so you may justifiably want a TP or Golden Cheetah type solution. I'd just recommend that you'd keep in mind that websites and vendors come and go. Keep some kind of spreadsheet log on the basic elements you want to track: Date, Ride Name, Description, Distance, Altitude gain, average speed, etc. These days you might want to keep wattage.

Most of the solutions will let you export a spreadsheet. Do that once a year and add it to your permanent log. Have a backup too. Heck: even spreadsheet software becomes obsolete over time. I recently had fun trying to recover some 1989 Quattro Pro files to add to my log.
