Arrgghhh...

Been driving across country all week. Starting Sunday (the night before we left, the night that I COULD NOT SLEEP) through today, the tunes that have been stuck in my head include:

- "In Time" - Sly Stone
- "Silly Putty" - Stanley Clarke
- "Limelight" - Rush
- "All Good People" - Yes
- "So Far Away" - The Crusaders

Stuck I tell you!

On those road trips, searching the dial gets you one ac/dc song followed by five local car dealership commercials

The sound quality on live videos is not that good so I went with the studio version

Sly and the Family Stone was probably my favorite band when I was 12-14. I remember playing the "Fresh" album constantly for months in 1973. It's been a long time since I listened to "There's a Riot Goin' On", but I remember "Time". Will have to dig it out and give it a listen.

Was out and about enjoying the fine weather earlier today with our son and we ended up at a local music shop. We purchased some vinyl and a few cd's, everyone got to pick out what they liked. When we got back home our son threw in the AiC disk he bought and ever since this song has been stuck in my head...especially where the harmonica kicks in and speeds up. AiC was never big on my radar so I was a slightly surprised by the little bit of country twang vibe coming through, not what I expected but I liked it.

There are a number of posts for this one throughout this thread. It's a good'n and one that has a way of getting into your head and staying there.
