Sounds a little redundant but hey, maybe you can convince yourself they all fit a different niche?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Smoothies in the Front, Knobbies in the Rear.
Took the Crust out for some Putnam County ramblin this weekend with some pals. Good times and perfect roads.

Nice crust. Wouldn’t you normally want more grip in the front and the faster rolling tire in the back?

i have a long thread on this bike here: https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...ighlight=swiss max tire size is likely 38-40. i have had RH 38's on there with no problem.

my primary reason for putting something with some meat out back is climbing and keeping rear traction.

My late 90s swiss cross fit a true 38 w/knobs and nothing more. Wish I could find another in a size up, that was one of the coolest bikes I've owned.

It’s not the most popular color, but I like brown. I think brown bikes look especially good coated in dirt.

A couple changes here and there since putting this together last November. The most recent were the Goodyear F1 32s tubeless and the Rotor INPower crankset (thank you BikeTech).
Its been mainly an on-road N+1 to the Helix but in a couple weeks, the gravel wheelset gets here and I'll finally get to ride this build on some non-paved roads.
