Toei 650b

Bought from a forum member years ago. I am sure he misses it. It's in good hands Tom! My first exposure to 650B. Originally, had Mitsubishi Trimlines on it but now it has the Gran Bois Hetre tires which roll fast and feel hmmm good.

This transcends bike. It is a machine, my rough stuff dream.

ps. Thanks Ron for the H20 bottles! They rock

Well done - that is an elegant, practical machine! Any plans for lighting?

Beautiful! One of my winter projects is going to be converting my '84 Pinarello Montello (SLX) into a 650b rain bike. I've been deliberately taking it slow because I just built up a new-to-me Serotta Atlanta. This makes me want to get on with the conversion!

That is fantastic.
Elegant.
(You're going to change the bar tape, right?)

All the credit goes to Tom. I just changed the saddle and bag. That is a Toei stem, I'll get some more shots. And just what exactly is wrong with my cloth tape!!!

Ha, I thought the celery green (Needs shellac) was a nice counter balance!!

No plans for lighting. My rides are day rides on roads, bike path, fire road or service road, double track, etc...

I see nothing wrong with the tape, although bornw, grey or black might be more 'conventional.'

Great looking 650B from Toei. I was looking at Toei's site earlier today. Do you know if this was ordered through Jitensha Studio in San Francisco or directly from Japan? What are the dimensions, 52 X 52?
