Mavic Kysrium M10 FTSL freehub: shimano/sram 10speed spacer question

Lots of conflicting information. Help!

If I want to run a 10sp Shimano or 10sp SRAM cassette on the a set of mavic wheels with the shimano 9/10/11 FTSL freehub boby, what are the recommended spacers to use?

Was told 1.75mm spacer for either shimano or sram

BUT

Was also told 1.75mm + 1.0mm for shimano, and only the 1.75mm for sram.

too much spacer you cant bottom the locknut threads. too little spacer the cassette wobbles.

ok to use two 1.0 instead of a 1.75?

My main experience here is with the ED10 campagnolo FTSL body - you just put the 10sp or 11sp casssette on...no spacers.

I think it depends on the cassette. Some 10s shimano don't need the extra 1mm spacer and some do. As long as you get good engagement of the lockring, and no slop you can mix and match spacers to your hearts content.

Sram- just the 1.75 should be all you need.

Shimano- depends on the cassette whether you need the extra 1.0mm spacer. I think its 105 and up need it.

1.75 Mavic spacer for shimano or sram 10s cogsets. Some shimano 10s cogsets(like DA/utegra and 105) also need the shimano supplied 1mm spacer..sram does not(ask shimano why)..
