No, last winter, typical for here. In all honesty it's been a pretty wimpy winter for us so far. We need to get some serious snow soon.

Is there snow on the road itself? If so, that's what the mountain bike is for. You go slow and enjoy the crunchy sound of your treaded/knobby tires. I wouldn't want to risk a spill on slippery roads on a road bike.

Why not wait a day or two for the roads to get dry before going back to the road bike? Or are the roads always snowy where you are? Around here we get a total of about two weeks of snowy days over the course of a winter where the roads are treacherous, so on those days it's mountain biking FTW. It makes for some welcome variety in the off-season.

Got snow yesterday, and I was hoping was not that bad so we could go to Gary Numan's concert, everything worked perfectly. The most amazing thing is that was the 1st I saw Gary Numan with decent dancing moves. Was about time IMO.
